30/3/10:  Ash has settled in beautifully and she is enjoying
meeting Rachel & Elia's families and getting to know everyone.
See photos of Ash & her littermates on our
'Oska/Bree Puppies page.

27/3/10:  It was a very tough call, but we have decided to keep the
'Peach Girl' (Bindi) for ourselves, with the 'Yellow Girl' (Ash) as our 2nd pick.
We said 'goodbye' to our beautiful Ash today
She has a lovely home in Wallan with Rachel & Elia.
We hope she brings them much happiness & companionship
for many years to come.  We look forward to an update on Ash soon.

19/3/10:  Puppies are now nearly 10 weeks old and most have
gone to their new homes.  All have settled in extremely well and
from all reports, are doing great.  We will be making the final
decision between our two pick girls this weekend and working
out who 'Bindi' is !  Our sole male, 'Miles', will be making his way to
his new home with Patricia & Louis in Singapore on
15th April where he will be spoilt rotten

28/2/10:  HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY TO STAN & MILLIE !!
Also, thinking of litter sister Jade, who is still very sadly missed by us all....
Our thoughts are with Noel & Marie Scicluna on this special day...

The babies are now 7 weeks old and growing
very fast.  All have wonderful homes to go to and we are
thrilled with them all.  See our new pages for Bindi & Spook.

7/2/10: Finally back online again after 2 weeks, due to good old
Telstra doing recabling work outside our house.
Babies are 1 month old today and are just beautiful.
New photos up very soon.
Happy 13th Birthday to our youngest nephew William - a teenager at last !!

17/1/10:  Wow !  How quickly the week has flown & it is amazing just
how little sleep one can survive on
One week old today and Bree & babies doing very well, with only one set-back
during the week - a mild case of mastitis, but thankfully, all well now
and puppies are growing before our eyes...Bree is a terrific little Mum.

10/1/10:  Bree & Oska's beautiful babies arrived today...all 11 of them !!
She did a brilliant job and is a wonderful mum to her babies.
Lots of sleepless nights & ALOT of hard work ahead of us
Thanks to all our friends for their best wishes &
support during the delivery !!

2/1/10:  Bree has been mated to
MULTI INTERNATIONAL CH/AUST CH ASHLAREN CAIPIROSKA
Puppies due mid-January 2010.

14/8/09:  Due to a change in our circumstances,
our litter planned for Bree in 2009 will now
take place early in 2010.....

13/7/09:  Our dreadful run of bad luck continues with the
very sad loss of our beautiful 'Piper'.
Aust Ch Divani Apaches Star (AI).
Piper succumbed to uterine cancer and kidney
failure at the relatively young age of nearly 10 years old.
We have so much to thank this lovely girl for.
She was the dam of 4 Champions and her legacy
lives on through her sons, daughter and grand-daughter.
Always in our hearts.

(Below: Photo taken at 9 years old...)

Running free at Rainbow Bridge.....

28/6/08:  Zac has another Champion daughter !!
Our congratulations to Gordon & Linda Huskinson of
Weiphoria Kennels - Sydney.
Abby is now known as Ch Weiphoria Aqua Spirit after
taking BOB (23 pts) & Aust Bred In Group at a Point Score
Show today.  What a wonderful way to finish your title !
We are so very proud of you all...
Congratulations also to Torin - Ch Weiphoria Santorini ~
Abby's litter brother, taking Dog CC & R/U BOB at the same show.

25/5/09:  Some very sad news....Chris's Dad, Lionel, passed
away today after succumbing to pneumonia.  Chris and I will be heading
to the UK to attend the funeral and spend a week or so with his Mum...
R.I.P. our dear Dad ~ you were one of a kind and we will miss you very much

3/3/09:  I am off to the UK and Crufts Dog Show with
Liz Harding.  We will be visiting Crufts for all 4 days and no doubt
doing some serious shopping !  I had this trip planned many weeks before Chris
suffered his heart attack and I was on the brink of cancelling everything,
but his doctor assured me that Chris was much better after the operation
than he was beforehand, so after weighing everything up and basically
being pushed onto the plane by Chris, my trip was still on.
Liz and I plan to spend a few days visiting
Chris's parents in Dursley Gloucestershire and then heading to London
for 3 days before heading to Paris for 4 days before heading home again.

(We had a wonderful time & you can see photos of our trip under the main headings...)

22/2/09:
A 'Chris Update'.....
Six weeks down the track and Chris is back to his
old self again.  He is still taking things fairly easy, but he
is getting back into all the things he enjoys doing - i.e.
shooting and getting ready for duck season 2009.
Thanks once again to everyone who has contacted us.
You've all been great and we won't forget your kindness & support.

17/1/09:  Unfortunately our year has not commenced on a good note.
After a truly dreadful 2008, I held positive vibes for a brilliant 2009, however
it has started out on a not so happy note with Chris suffering a
heart attack on 9th January.  He is resting comfortably now after having
a stent inserted to open a blocked artery and his prognosis is
excellent.  We would both like to thank everyone who has taken
the time to contact us with their best wishes for Chris.
It has certainly helped, knowing that we have the support
of family and friends.  The old saying that 'you know who your
true friends are in times like this' is very true.
Here's hoping the rest of 2009 is better !

2/1/09:  Another year has arrived & we wish
all our friends all the very best for 2009.
May all your dreams & wishes come true.
Personally, we are hoping that 2009 is a much
happier year for us !
Chris has decided that after such an awful year
(after losing my dear Mum in March
and also Demi at the end of October),
I need a break (yippee!!!!)
so.... I am heading off to the UK with Liz Harding
for a few weeks in March.

Of course we have
timed it perfectly to attend Crufts for the full 4 days
and also Best In Show, so no doubt we will shop
till we drop !  After Crufts, we will head to Gloucestershire
to visit Chris's parents for a few days and then head to
London for 3 days.  We are then catching the train
to Paris & doing all the touristy things there - i.e.
visiting the Louvre, seeing the Eiffel Tower, a night
cruise up the Seine and a tour of the Palace of Versailles
before heading home.  My trusty camera will be working
overtime yet again....so photos here once we arrive home !

13/12/08:  Zac - Dual Ch Silvasheen Aint Half Bad
- Dog CC, BOB, Aust Bred In Group & R/U In Group

29/10/08:  A very sad day for us....we said our
final goodbyes to our gorgeous old girl
"Demi" - Aust Silvasheen L'Bit Dangerus.
Demi was diagnosed with a severe heart
murmur a few months ago and the past few
weeks were a real battle for her.
In the end, it all became too much and
we made the decision to stop her suffering.
She was my 'Once In A Lifetime Dog' and
I loved her with all my heart - she will be very
sadly missed by us all at Silvasheen

R.I.P. My sweet girl - See you at Rainbow Bridge ...

21.3.95. - 29.10.08.

for Zac's kids at the NSW Specialty show over the weekend....
"Abby" ~ Weiphoria Aqua Spirit - Res Bitch CC
"Torin" ~ Ch Weiphoria Santorini - 2nd Inter Dog Class

Both Abby & Torin were Graded 'Excellent'
We are very proud of you all !!

20/6/08: We extend our sincere condolences
to Noel Scicluna and family on the loss of
'Jade'(Aust Ch Silvasheen Field ODreams CDX)
due to that most dreadful condition - bloat.
Jade had a tough start to the year, surviving
major abdominal surgery in February.
She pulled through and was on the mend and
doing remarkably well, even competing in
our club's obedience trial in April and going
'Highest Scoring Weimaraner In Trial'.
Jade was Millie & Stan's litter sister and was
equally as versatile as her brother and sister.
Most of all, she was Noel's best friend and
a brilliant companion in the field.
Jade left us much too early and we
will always remember this beautiful girl with much love.

Rest In Peace sweet Jade.....

9/6/08:
We are proud to announce

a great score of 188 pts at the Weimaraner Club
of Victoria Inc's Restricted Obedience Trial ~

once again, well done Millie & Gail and
good luck for your final pass !

26/3/08:  We are very sad to announce that my
dear Mum passed away today peacefully in
her sleep at Maryvale Private Hospital after
a very long illness.  A kind soul, who always
thought of others before herself, she was a true lady
in all respects of the word and we will
miss her dearly.  Rest peacefully Mum.

21/3/08: Demi turns 13 !!
Our gorgeous girl is still fairly spritely
and manages to steal Bree's toys every now and then.
She is still our 'alarm clock', waking us up at
10 to 5 on the dot each morning to let us know
she wants her breakfast NOW !!

2/3/08:  Thanks to all those who passed on their
thoughts and best wishes to us regarding Stan.
Stan has come through surgery with flying colours
and his benign colorectal polyp was successfully removed.

Stan has now been given a clean bill of health and
our sincere thanks goes to Dr. Charles Kuntz & staff
at Southern Animal Referral Centre, Highett, for all
their expertise and ongoing care of Stan.

(Below: 2nd March 2008 ~ Stan taking it easy on the couch
