Callie was whelped on 22nd November 1983.
She was to be the most significant addition to our
growing kennel and was our true foundation bitch.
To this day, our lines trace directly back to
Callie through both our strong bitch line.
Callie was a very pretty, compact bitch with an terrific
front assembly, beautiful shoulders and a feisty, bossy nature -
Callie was the boss of all her surrounds !
She was shown very successfully as a youngster and was a
Multi Class In Group winner, however the showring was not to
her liking and she was retired on 89 points.
A brilliant mum to her babies, Callie would always insist
upon taking her puppies to her favourite spot underneath
the rosebush at the side of the garage & woebetide anyone who
would dare to disturb her ! 
She was bred 3 times - her first litter was sired by our
lovely dog Greybeau Archilles. Her second and third litters
were sired by the beautiful dog Ch Lindridge Wee Jasper and
it was from the first of these two matings that we bred our
first show champion - Ch Silvasheen Coffee Kisses ("Gidget")
Gidget went on to create a mini-dynasty of her own.
Her grand-daughter Ch Silvasheen Indian Summer and
great grand-daughter Silvasheen Miss Megabucks continue her legacy.
We lost Callie relatively early in her life.
She passed away peacefully
at 9 yrs old, in her sleep beside me
one night, due to an undetected heart problem.
We have much to thank this girl for &
she is sadly missed to this day.
