After dabbling in the showring a few times and
not enjoying it one little bit, it has been decided with
her strong working instincts and ability, that
Bree's forte lies in fieldwork and this, together
with tracking, will be our main focus in 2008.
(Bree has now commenced her tracking training &
after passing Beginners class in obedience, is now
up into Class 1 at our local club.)
I am sure she will enjoy herself much more, burning
off all that energy, rather than sitting in a crate
all day being bored silly, and then only running
around in a circle for two minutes
Bree is an absolute delight to live with, a
full on young lady with tons
of attitude and we look forward to
having heaps of fun together, particularly
in the field during the cooler months.
With her fabulous pedigree, Bree's lines are
an asset to our breeding program.
A litter is planned for Bree late in 2009.
She is very 'birdy' and spends hours on
end with her ever patient mum Skye, stalking
the birds in the backyard.
Bree's litter brother AJ now has his own page
up and running and can viewed here.....

BELOW :
Photos of Bree at 5 & more recently, at
8 months old, taken at our local gun clubs.
This was Bree's second & third
outings to the gun club to
mainly to get her used to hearing
shotguns from a distance and also
close up in order to test her for gunshyness.
Well, we needn't have worried !
She took it all in her stride and we
shot a few rounds of Simulated Field with
Bree close by with Stan for company
and reassurance. She did not flinch once
and this, combined with her inherent birdiness
has set the groundwork for her future
field training in the the months to come.
She's a natural !
